Y2K Girl Essentials: Jellies Footwear

The Footwear of Summer!

Disclosure: Affiliate links are used in this post.
These jelly shoes are definitely a late 90s Y2K throwback! Very on trend for spring and summer, these are what I like to call princess jellies. Glitter infused, “birds nest” patterned jelly ballet flats fit for a princess! Super comfortable to wear - far more comfortable than the thick basket woven style that I was obsessed with from 1996 - 2000! They won’t break the bank at $13.99 a pair, which means you can get one in every color (obviously necessary for us Y2K girls). These bad boys come in pink (featured in photos), black, gold and silver!

Loved this look pairing camo with feminine silhouettes. I layered the Camo Jacket over the Slit Sleeve Dress. The Accacia Bootie was perfect for desert hikes and complimented the outfit nicely. I stuffed the Commander in Chic Shoulder Bag with goodies for my travels and completed the outfit with these Cat's Meow Sunglasses and Feelin A Little Druzy Bracelet.

Still Smoochin'

February 17, 2018 • Los Angeles, CA

Valentine weekend still has me full of love, so I put together this date night outfit with red accents from JustFab! I'm wearing the Cross V-Neck Dress which is a comfy jersey knit with the Longline Drapey Jacket on top to dress it up. I did a pop of color for the accessories with the Cora Bootie featuring red kisses and hearts and the Marcus Tote in bright red to match! Simple, but so cute I had to share. You can shop the look here!

Very Valentine

February 14, 2018 • Los Angeles, CA

Happy Valentine's Day! This Valentine's look transitioned from work to play effortlessly with a bright red chiffon A-line dress with bow tie detail and a kiss cardigan on top. I wore rose gold converse for a more playful and casual look. Loving all the little details!

This look from Alice's wardrobe:

  • Dress - Express
  • Cardigan - Charlotte Russe
  • Sneakers - Converse

Tied Up in Chambray | Outfit of the Day

Tied Up in Chambray

February 5, 2018 • Los Angeles, CA

February is here and and has me falling for classic clothing worn in a new way. I love the sleek, seamless lines of pairing this High Waisted Jegging with a matching black One Shoulder Bodysuit. To compliment the high waist of the look, I drew attention to it by tying up my Chambray Shirt on top. It's such a cute way to layer and add a bow to any look! For my accessories, I went for feminine blush and rose colors with matching sunglasses and Simon Satchel bag. To complete the look, I let the shoe take the outfit to the next level by mixing stripe and floral prints in navy, white and pink with the Lena Heeled Sandal.

Floral Jacquard Denim | Outfit of the Day

Floral Jacquard Denim

January 29, 2018 • Los Angeles, CA

Loving this Floral Jacquard Denim for the new year! I styled them with a cozy grey sweater with satin tie back detail for a nice winter look. I polished the outfit with this Ruffle Moto Jacket I have in every color, but the lilac is my favorite! It's so feminine but still edgy in a faux leather. To compliment the vibe, I chose the Travis Satchel bag with gold metal hardware details and matching sunglasses. The amazing bow shoes really tie the whole look together and compliment the lilac jacket. Still so bow obsessed this year!

Pop of Pink | Outfit of the Day

Pop of Pink

January 10, 2018 • Los Angeles, CA

I loved this look because I could play up the femininity of these pieces in a new way. Incorporating the pop of pink through accessories was playful with such a bright, bold color. The Fit & Flare Sweater Skirt is cozy and flouncy, which plays well with the playful cutouts in the Halter Twist Neck Top. I polished the look off with an edgy Ruffle Moto Jacket that incorporated a feminine ruffle detail along the zipper to balance the look in a new way with a different mix of textures, showing you that feminine doesn’t always have to be delicate.

Stepping into the New Year

An outfit completely from JustFab online to ring in the new year in style. Shining in this black Sequin Romper with choker neck detail worn with tights underneath to keep warm, and over the knee boots heeled boots with tie back detail. I threw the New Easy Jacket on top to polish the look to hit the streets. The velvet backpack has a rose embroidery detail, which is very on trend for the season. Wishing you all positivity and peace in the new year!

With this being a heavy travel time, I wanted to share a recent travel look! It is a comfortable outfit that does not compromise style or professionalism and the complete look is featured on JustFab online. The Asymmetrical Ruffle Hem Skirt is a nice stretch material that does not hold wrinkles, which is perfect for traveling. I paired it with a Bow Tie Blouse for a feminine, polished detail. The A-Line Parka Jacket is lightweight and easy to style in different ways for versatility. It was great to throw over my legs on the flight. The Simon Essential Satchel was the perfect size as my personal item and I love all the pockets inside for organization. I polished the look off with the Milley Pump to add some texture and print to the look.

LA Zoo Lights | Outfit of the Day

LA Zoo Lights

December 22, 2017 • Los Angeles, CA

All bundled up for the cool weather during the light exhibit at the beautiful Los Angeles Zoo! My look includes velvet skinny denim that plays well with the other textures in this look. The bold red coat is a feminine take on a traditional peacoat, paired with my favorite black and white polka dot wool scarf. The accessories also add depth with different textures including the faux leather Brayden bow clutch I'm obsessed with and the faux suede ballet flats with velvet ribbon ties. The shoes could easily be switched out for boots if you're looking for a warmer alternative. I paired the look with my favorite lace headband and "drinkcessorized" with a rich hot chocolate they offer at the zoo concessions. The lights were stunning and I highly recommend the event if you're in the LA area. Tickets are available online and the event runs through January 7th.

Pom-Poms and Bows

December 7, 2017 • Los Angeles, CA

As a fashion stylist for JustFab, I love creating looks for myself with the newest collections. This look is casual and fun featuring trending elements like pom-poms, bows and scalloped edges. Currently loving these pom-pom sneakers for the holidays since they are such a fun and comfy way to stay festive! Truly obsessed with the Brayden Bow Clutch and am convinced I need it in every color, including this rose gold which is one of their newest releases. I have included a list of pieces from this look with direct links to the products so you can shop the look too! The accessories would make great gifting moments for the fashionistas in your life.

A fun Minnie Mouse inspired look for fall, this dress speaks for itself! I paired it with a simple red cardigan that is cut to naturally drape open, red ballet flats and a red headband with ribbon bow. The black bow bag compliments the look without competing with the print and pops of color.

Mixing Prints for F / W

December 1, 2017 • Hollywood, California

Outfit of the day. Playing with prints, mixing multiple sizes of polka dots and accessorizing with stripes. The bow obsession shines through with tie back details on the stockings, the scarf styled in a bowtie, the embellishment on the bag and the ring.

Stockings to keep warm in Los Angeles weather helps to create a seasonal feel. Finished the look with the black cape coat for a chic and fun look for fall and winter.
